Hangzhou CHNSpec technology spectrophotometer is actually used in color measurement of plastic plates

Plastic is a material synthesized or condensed by monomer raw materials. It is composed of synthetic resin and fillers, plasticizers, stabilizers, lubricants, pigments and other additives. Its main component is synthetic resin. Plastic plate (as shown in Figure 1) is made of plastic. Plastic plate is easy to be colored. In the process of quality inspection, the color management of plastic plate is a very important link. CS-600 spectrophotometer of Hangzhou CHNSpec technology has been applied in the process of plastic color measurement.

The spectrophotometer CS-600 (as shown in Figure 2) of CHNSpec technology is an excellent spectrophotometer in China. It has obtained the national first-class metrological certification. It integrates a number of technical features and has the characteristics of superior performance and high cost performance among similar products at home and abroad. The performance is far better than that of traditional color difference meter products. It is widely used and can be operated in factories and laboratories, which is enough to realize color measurement in quality control in almost all application fields. The built-in software of CS-600 has powerful functions, including all necessary color equations, standard light sources suitable for different tasks, and a large number of industry-specific and application indicators. It also includes the application indicators of the plastic industry, which is very conducive to the color management of plastic plates and can fully meet the color measurement needs of plastic plates.

Knowing the role of CHNSpec technology spectrophotometer in the plastic industry, a Shenzhen Plastic Co., Ltd. hopes to directly understand how the spectrophotometer tests plastic plates through on-site demonstration. The company is mainly engaged in various colors of PVC rubber particles (cold resistant, certified, non mobile, sulfur resistant, wire and cable insulation, sheath, plug, electronic material, medical, toy, transparent material, non-toxic and tasteless NP material, thermoplastic elastomer TPR, TPE plastic particles). The quality requirements of the produced plastic plate are very high, so it is decided to adopt a new method - CHNSpec spectrophotometer - to manage the color quality of the plastic plate.
The following describes the process of using CS-600 to test the color difference of plastic plate.
Step 1: prepare the sample to be tested - standard sample and sample of plastic plate (as shown in Figure 3);

Step 2: turn on the instrument, carry out the conventional black-and-white calibration, press the "print" key, first locate the measurement area through the image, align the standard sample of the plastic plate to be tested with the test hole, then press the "test" key, complete the measurement after "dripping" sound, and check the test results (as shown in Figure 4). Pay attention to avoid the influence of light leakage during the test;

Step 3: after the standard sample is measured, press the "menu" key to enter the "sample measurement" interface under the standard sample, align the plastic plate sample with the test hole according to the standard sample measurement method, press the "test" key for measurement, and complete the color difference measurement after "dripping" sound, and you can get the measurement results immediately (as shown in Figure 5).

After the sample is measured, the color difference measurement results directly reflect the accurate data of color difference between different batches of plastic plates. In the process of monitoring the color quality of plastic plates, the performance of CHNSpec technology spectrophotometer CS-600 makes customers very satisfied and plays a great role in the quality management of finished plastic plates, which is conducive to improving product quality and production efficiency.
