Yarn is the raw material for weaving, rope making, thread making, knitting and embroidery. The quality of yarn determines the quality of the final product. Therefore, the color of yarn seriously affects the color of rope, thread, cloth, embroidery and other finished products. Therefore, the color measurement of yarn is very important. Next, the CHNSpec CS-600 handheld spectrophotometer is used to introduce the color measurement process of yarn.
First, the yarn is wound on a flat plate to ensure that there is a plane for color measurement. As shown in the figure below.
Pay attention to yarn winding: it shall be tight and the color of the plane plate shall not interfere with the measurement results; It should also be flat. If it is uneven, it cannot be close to the test port, which is easy to make the ambient light enter the test system, resulting in inaccurate measurement results.
Wrap the standard yarn and the yarn to be tested into two standard samples 1 and 2, as shown in the figure below.
Use CS-600 to measure the color of yarn, start up - complete black-and-white calibration, as shown in the figure below.
Place No. 1 standard sample of wound yarn at the measuring port, make the sample in close contact with the test port, and measure according to test
You can also press the print key to turn on the camera to ensure that the sample completely covers the test caliber.
The test results are shown in the figure
Press the menu key to measure the yarn sample to be tested. In the same way, place the wound yarn sample to be tested at the test port and press the test key to measure. The results are shown in the figure.
Press enter to view the spectral reflectance of the standard sample and the sample to be tested
Press enter to confirm, as shown in the figure below.
