In November 2013, the R & D team of Hangzhou CHNSpec technology Co., Ltd. was invited to visit the national physical laboratory.
The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) was founded in 1900 and located in bushy Park, Teddington, London, UK. It is the long-standing national measurement and Metrology benchmark research center in the UK and the largest Applied Physics Research Organization in the UK. NPL is the world's leading research center in the development and application of accurate measurement standards, science and technology. NPL carries out various combinations of international project research, including developing measurement technology, consolidating SI system and supporting various interdisciplinary technologies.
During the visit, Dr. Andrew, head of NPL optical radiation and color laboratory, warmly received the CHNSpec R & D team, introduced NPL's color measurement standard laboratory, and made relevant academic reports on the current cutting-edge technology and development direction of color detection. The CHNSpec team and NPL researchers discussed the standards, methods and technologies of color measurement in detail, introduced the patented technology and academic achievements of CHNSpec technology Co., Ltd. in color measurement to NPL, introduced the color measurement instrument CS-600 spectrophotometer representing the high level in China, and introduced the measurement technology and application of CS-600 in detail. NPL researchers expressed great interest in and spoke highly of CS-600 spectrophotometer of CHNSpec technology, marveled at the accuracy and stability of CS-600, and appreciated the work of Chinese peers in color measurement. CHNSpec company invited Dr. Andrew to visit CHNSpec technology in Hangzhou, China at his convenience. Dr. Andrew gladly accepted the invitation and planned to visit CHNSpec technology during the International Conference on light radiation in August 2014.
CHNSpec has been paying close attention to and keeping up with the development of academic frontier in R & D and academia, and has made original work in many aspects. CHNSpec will continue to create more impressive achievements in the field of color measurement.
