Color difference refers to the color difference between the same product and the standard sample. With the continuous development of industry, color difference has gradually become the focus of customers, a barrier to market competition and a brand of packaging and printing enterprises. In fact, the continuous improvement of customers' requirements for color difference is also a double-edged sword for enterprises.
If the color difference is well controlled, it can defeat competitors. If it is not well controlled, it will also be complained and returned by customers, and may even be ruthlessly eliminated by the market.

In order to improve production efficiency and product quality, the company decided to use instruments to control color difference. The following steps are described in detail:
Step 1: prepare the sample to be tested (as shown in Figure 3);

Step 2: open the CS-600 spectrophotometer and calibrate it in black and white;

Step 3: after the black-and-white calibration is completed, press the "print" key, first locate the measurement area with the image, align the standard sample to be measured with the test hole, be careful not to leak light, so as not to affect the test results, and then press the "test" key to complete the measurement and view the test results;

Step 4: after the above standard sample is measured and saved, press the "menu" key to enter the "sample measurement" interface under the standard sample. Align the sample with the test hole according to the standard sample measurement method, press the "test" key for measurement, and complete the color difference measurement after "dripping" sound, and then the measurement result can be obtained. And compare with the standard sample results to see whether they are qualified.
According to the measurement results, customers can control the color difference in the production process of packaging and printing, which greatly reduces the time cost and labor cost.
